About Esther

From a young age, Esther has always enjoyed art. Her first foray in Art Education started at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where she took a course in Western Art. Since then, she has taken up various roles in the art industry such as an Assistant Art Director, to a Freelance Graphic Designer later on in her career.
In 2015, Esther discovered her passion for watercolour and brush calligraphy, picking up the skill on her own. Her background of 30 years (and counting!) of dabbling in art has helped her create artwork, designs and her self-published books, Lush and Blooms, A Guide To Floral Watercolour and Watercolour Floral Painting which are available for purchase here or on Amazon.
Esther is currently an ambassador for Schmincke, an established line of watercolour paints from Germany, and Princeton Brushes from the United States. She teaches a multitude of watercolour classes from the classic flower wreaths to realistic looking animals and landscapes.
On Instagram and Youtube, Esther frequently shares her work and instructional videos to engage her fans and share tips and tricks. Her teaching style is easy and approachable, presenting a digestible lesson on watercolour for all ages. It is no wonder why many students return back for more.
